Lazy R Ranch develops miniatures horses for two distinct markets.

First, we produce registered miniature foals with color, conformation and personality.  These fine foals come from a variety of top blood lines including Komokos, NFC, Bond, Van Huttenest,  Hobby Horses, and Grosshills to name just a few.  These minatures can be equally comfortable in the showring or your backyard.

Second, we sell saddle trained miniatures, typically non-registered, for young riders.  We emphasize "spook reduction" training with these mini mounts and try to simulate as many of the motions and mistakes that children often make around horses in order to develop safe conditioned responses under as wide a range of circumstances as possible. 

And, of course, we just enjoy having these guys around.  From riding horses for little people to driving for big people... jumping and obstacle courses... with miniatures there is always something interesting to do!
